The project aims to produce a complete advanced 3D digital model of two artifacts (zemis) stored in the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the University of Turin using integrated X-ray tomography and laser scanning methodologies in order to obtain high-definition 3D maps of its superficial and inner layers. The data used for scientific and conservation purposes will provide significant benefits for archiving and sharing data on the zemís and developing interactive platforms for experts and the general public. Moreover, proposed supplementary chemical analysis (FTIR, UV-vis-NIR (reflectance and fluorescence), XRF and XRF/low energy, Raman) will provide new knowledge about the constituent materials.
