On the 26th of February the AviArch team will be presenting the project at the Archaeo Science Talks 2026.
We successfully concluded the AviArch kick-off event held at UniTO at the end of February 2025. This meeting brought together leading scholars from various disciplines and countries, all committed to advancing the study of avifauna in archaeological contexts as well as their complex relationship with humans through time. Our four days were filled with productive presentations, discussions, and hands-on engagement with bird bones and eggs in the Department of Life Science and System Biology laboratories.
